This Google Analytics API error indicates that the metrics and dimensions being requested cannot be used together. This usually happens when you are creating a custom report, and you added a combination of fields that the API rejects.
In Analytics Edge, the Google Analytics connectors will usually show these incompatible fields in the list in a light grey colour (you can still select them). You must remove the incompatible fields for the query to run.
