To get started with the Bing Ads connector, just add an account, then make your queries! On the Analytics Edge ribbon bar, click the Bing Ads button and select the Accounts menu item.
ADD AN ACCOUNT
Enter a Reference Name for the account and click the Add Account button. You will step through a Bing Ads login sequence to authorize Analytics Edge to access your account. *
* A note about security: an account access token is encrypted and stored in a file on your computer using the reference name you entered. Your workbook queries use the reference name, and during refresh, the connector looks up your access token and sends it direct to Bing’s API server with your queries. Your access tokens are not stored in your workbooks, so you can freely share the workbooks.
MAKE A QUERY
In Excel, on the Analytics Edge ribbon bar, click the Bing Ads button and select the Reports menu item. Different groups of reports can be accessed by selecting from the left-side buttons. Select from one of the preset reports, then step through the tabs to select the Scope, Fields, Filters, Dates and Sorting for your query. Click Finish when you are ready to make the query.
