This Analytics Edge widget recognizes duplicate rows in your data and lets you choose whether to keep them, remove them or combine them.
Typically used to remove duplication in lists, it can also summarize your data for unique values in specific columns.
Select Key Columns – select columns by position (column letter), or By Name, Duplicate rows are rows with the same values in all of the selected columns.
Ignore case – when performing the duplicate check, match rows even if they have differing upper or lower case letters.
Ignore spaces – when performing the duplicate check, match rows even if they differ because of different spacing (leading, trailing or within the text).
Aggregation
Select the aggregation function to use for Text Columns, Number Columns and Date Columns when a duplicate is encountered.
Options
Add Count column – add a column to the table, named ‘Count’, with a count of the number of rows that have been aggregated.
Remove rows that have duplicates – if a row has a duplicate, remove all entries.
Remove rows that do not have duplicates – if a row does not have any duplicates, remove it.
